Whether your gardens
have an English cottage theme, an evening garden's sensual draw, a fragrance
approach, a color-based theme, is nautical in nature, or is inspired by
angels and nature spirits, it speaks of who you are. What do you see when
you look at a sloping bank? Wildflowers? Should you take that spot
out by the front gate and make it's appeal palpable the moment you turn in the
drive by designing an old country look? Tired of that bare mailbox post?
Why not some perky Morning Glories to greet your letter carrier? Won't
draw the bees....
The gardens in this
section have a particular theme. They express the gardener men and women's
heart of hearts. It says much about what they find beautiful. It's a
refuge, a haven, an ode to Joy! As you see the pages here, ask yourself
what is your garden's THEME? Could you make your garden more interesting
with some outside lighting? So that the day's delights may be viewed at
night? What about a bench? A trickling fountain. A more ambitious
pond? A sundial? Bird baths and houses? A butterfly or
ladybug hut. How would a stretch of white picket fence add to the mystic
of your Secret Space? Or maybe you just like to keep it a little bit WILD.
Yes. Wild. I like that.
Browse here and find
out what appeals to your sense of Beauty.....Maybe it's bringing some of that
wildness INSIDE......

From time to time, we will offer web-only specials and publish
short stories about the Farm Dogs or the grandkids, and inspirations from life on the Farm in mid-Michigan, the
American heartland. Seasonally, we will write to help Gardeners grow beautiful Zinnias,
learn how to make a stunning
bouquet, or how to collect precious seed when harvest is here. Let us know
if you would like to receive them.
We have moved our web to a new server and resized all photos for faster load
