The Dewitt Millennium Garden Club
Dear Sharon, The Dewitt Millennium Garden Club wants to thank you for the beautiful array of zinnias we have enjoyed in our cemetery Healing Garden and the Gazebo Garden here in the City of Dewitt. Our garden club became the recipient of zinnia seeds that you had double shipped to Diane Mossier, and you graciously allowed her to donate the seeds to our club to plant in city parks and public places. We have used the seeds also in our sports park as well as in some of the city planter boxes. Thank you for your kindness, and we will order seeds for next spring's plantings. Do you have a hard copy of your catalog? If not, we will view what we can on the web site. Perhaps our club could visit your zinnia farm if you allow that. [For reasons of insurance, VDZ no longer does public tours; however, a virtual tour is available. Sharon also accepts program requests for groups.] Your seeds have produced the most beautiful blooms!
Thank you again. -Shirley Keck & the Dewitt Garden Club, Dewitt, Michigan 2007 ============================================= Dear Shirley & Ladies of the Dewitt Garden Club, It was so wonderful of you to write and to include the photos of your handiwork in the gardens around the town of Dewitt. I am quite sure the citizens revel in your eye-candy dotted about town! I know I was astounded by your craft and art. It was nothing less than magical! GREAT JOB! Please know you have earned a $25 gift certificate for sending photos for the web site. That should get you a good start to next year's plantings! Thank you so much for sharing! Blessings, Sharon Baller
Pink Profusion Zinnias amidst large gold mint marigolds. Cherry cleome on lower right. Eye-popping red petunias peeks out from beneath the zins.
Here we have a mix of annuals and perennials. Left middle, the blues and purples, we have some bee balm growing. In front of that, are the cherry Profusion Zinnias accented by white Dusty Miller. Blue and white petunias and snapdragons further brighten the scene. Larger zinnias (rear) and cherry cleome also grow here.
Black-eyed Susan left rear and scattered amidst the back rows. Large zinnias in the middle rows. Cherry Cleome dot the middle. Profusion pink and cherry front bottom, with giant flowering marigolds peeping through. Blue pansies and white petunias for show.
Gardens from another side view. Blue petunias make a stunning addition to the garden.
